What dexrr is
dexrr is a browser-based creative and file-tool suite. The core idea is simple: common file operations should start immediately, work without unnecessary accounts and keep supported files on the user’s own device.
The current product focuses on conversion, compression, PDF utilities, image tools and archives. The same workspace is designed to grow into larger image, audio, video and vector editors over time.
When a tool can run reliably in the browser, dexrr sends the processing code to the device instead of sending the file to a remote server.
Conversion, compression and editing are separate actions. Navigation should reflect what the user wants to do, not expose implementation details.
Core tools are designed to remain useful without a subscription. Accounts and paid services are reserved for features that genuinely need persistence, collaboration or hosted compute.
Product status
dexrr is under active development. Available tools are marked as usable in the interface; planned formats and AI-assisted features are shown separately and may change before release.
