1. Controller

The controller responsible for this website is [Your full legal name]. Contact: contact@example.com. Full provider details are listed in the imprint.

2. Local file processing

Tools explicitly described as local or client-side process selected files inside the browser, commonly through JavaScript and WebAssembly. The file content is not intentionally uploaded to dexrr for those operations.

The browser still needs to download the website code and processing modules from the web server. File names or contents are not required for that delivery.

3. Data generated when visiting the website

When the website is requested, the hosting system may process technical connection data such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, referrer, user agent and response status. This is necessary to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose faults.

Security and access logs should be retained only as long as operationally necessary and then deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required to investigate misuse or comply with law.

4. Cookies and local storage

Essential session cookies may be used for login, CSRF protection and account security. Browser local storage may be used for local preferences, recent tools, favorites or project entries. These functions do not require advertising cookies.

dexrr should not activate non-essential analytics, advertising or profiling technologies without providing the legally required information and consent mechanism.

5. Accounts

If an account is created, dexrr processes information needed to provide and secure it, including the email address, password hash, verification state, profile data and active sessions. Passwords are not stored in plain text.

Account data is used to authenticate the user, prevent misuse, provide requested account features and communicate security-relevant information.

6. Contact requests

When you contact dexrr, the submitted message and contact information are processed to answer the request and retain necessary correspondence. Avoid sending file contents or personal information that are not needed for the request.

7. Legal bases

Depending on the context, processing may be based on performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is requested.

8. Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may also withdraw consent with future effect and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

Send privacy requests to contact@example.com.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when the product, hosting setup or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
